As a member of the Gerontology Society of Iowa, opportunity for participation at the committee level is encouraged. Three (3) committees have been established to assist the Board of Directors in the overall success of the Society.

Conference & Education Committee:

Media & Communications Committee:
Media & Communications Committee members work throughout the year to assist in the promotion of GSI activities, such as the annual educational conferences. Committee members may also be called upon by the local media to provide specific information in relation to the field of aging. Membership Committee:
The Membership Committee members work to promote GSI and the benefits available by becoming a member of the Society.
